There is a major push to reduce government spending and balance the budget. Does that make sense now?

The economony is growing slowly, 1.8% GDP growth in the 1st quarter 2011. Cutting spending by the federal or state gorvernments could reduce the aggregate demand that is keeping the US economy afloat. Balancing the budget should be approached very cautiously now. Leave a Reply. |
